Our advice about OTHER online stores: We suggest you do NOT BUY from ANY online store that does NOT post terms and conditions for you're benefit! We also suggest you read what their terms and conditions REALLY say. Turn off that annoying music they have playing in the background that stops you from being able to concentrate! Are they claiming full factory warranties on all merchandise? Well if they do there is a GOOD chance they are lying to you. Brands like Alpine, JL Audio, Kicker, etc do NOT AUTHORIZE Internet/mail order sales! The factory warranties are VOID! Even brands like Pioneer and Sony do not authorize Internet sales from any company aside from Crutchfield. So if an online store will LIE about THAT, what ELSE will they lie about? If they promise their own warranty, well we hope for you're sake they will be around to honor it! Companies like Directronics, and Audiomovil online stores have vanished overnight, leaving their customers without warranty.

1. Shipping: Shipping and handling is NOT included, unless a product is clearly marked that way. S&H are based on what UPS charges, plus a $5.00 flat fee per ORDER (not per product). When shipping IS included, it is for ground shipping in the 48 states only. Extra shipping charges will be emailed to you after the order, if outside the 48 States.

2. All orders are shipped UPS ground, unless requested otherwise. Any shipping option is available, including overnight. We will ship to military addresses, and PO Boxes via U.S.P.S. but otherwise, we wont use the Postal Service unless requested. If shipping MUST be done via U.S. Postal Service (i.e. an APO address), an ADDITIONAL $5.00 handling fee will be charged to your card. 

3. COD is NOT AVAILABLE!

4. For customers without credit cards, we will accept prepaid orders. You can also pay by check online, or even FAX us a check. On large orders, we may at our discretion hold orders until the check actually clears the bank, 14 days.

5. We accept the following credit cards if you are a U.S. RESIDENT: Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.     

6. ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT CARDS will be accepted from outside the USA!

7. Orders will be shipped within 3 business days (but usually the SAME day). See EXCEPTIONS here. Saturday and Sunday are NOT business days! Orders received after NOON (Eastern time) are processed on the NEXT business day, so the 3 day rule starts on THAT day. If a piece is not in stock, and we cannot ship it within 3 business days, we will inform you of the back order. At that time you will have the option to cancel the order, for a full refund. We do ask that you allow us 48 hours if you decide to cancel an order after being notified of the back order. This is in case the product is in transit, or already packed and ready to ship. Please note your credit card will be billed at the time of ordering, as we are under the assumption that we WILL ship in 3 business days. This IS the case the majority of the time. We stock well, and know what to stock. This is beneficial to you of course.

8. We CAN NOT "add to" or "change" an existing order once it is processed, even if it has not been shipped. We have found this just causes mistakes, which we would of course prefer to avoid. We do however reserve the right to give a substitute model if the model ordered is no longer available. If this is done, the substituted model will be NEWER or a BETTER model. In other words it will usually be a more expensive substitute from the same company, one model up.

9. Territorial restrictions may apply to some brands. This means we may not be able to ship certain brands to specific areas.

10. Credit card orders can ONLY be shipped to the same address as the billing address of your credit card. We WILL NOT ship to a non billing address! This is due to the recent increase of fraudulent orders we have had. We apologize for any inconvenience, and other arrangements CAN be made if proper documentation is provided. We suggest that anyone who likes to have their order delivered elsewhere, such as a place of work, contact your credit card companies, and give them the alternate shipping address. That way we can get approval at either address during the verification process. ALL FRAUD ATTEMPTS WILL BE REPORTED TO THE THE F.B.I.. Your IP Address is LOGGED upon ordering!

11. Multi Media Xpress will give you FULL FACTORY WARRANTIES on almost all merchandise. The word ALMOST DOES apply though, and we DON'T want you to be mislead. There are select brands that will not honor warranties of merchandise purchased through us (or ANY UNAUTHORIZED DEALER). Any of these brands are backed up by our own warranty for a period of ONE YEAR. If the warranty is not at LEAST 1 year, it will be stated as such on the page or product description. Image Dynamics warranty is a 90 day MMX warranty. Precision Power is 90 days full, 1 year parts only. No loss replacement warranties are provided by Multi Media Xpress. All "MMX" warranties are REPAIR ONLY.  Most items can be shipped directly to the manufacturer for repair. If you prefer, simply ship the item to us, and we will handle it for the first 30 days free of charge. The consumer is responsible for all shipping charges for warranty repair. If we handle the warranty work AFTER the first 30 days, merchandise will be shipped back COD for the amount of total shipping charges incurred, plus a $7.00 COD fee. Or you can send $10 ($15 for subwoofers) along with your repair to avoid a COD return. If you should need warranty work on ANYTHING you get from us, please check with us first and we will tell you exactly how to handle it.

12. All sales are final. There are NO RETURNS and NO CANCELLATIONS. If you receive a defective unit within the first seven days, we will ATTEMPT to replace it with a new unit for you. This is NOT always possible. It will be at the discretion of our supplier to provide a new unit, or repair the unit. Unit must appear to be brand new to qualify for replacement, otherwise our repair policy will apply. You must email us for a Return Authorization Number before returning any item. e-mail customersupport@mmxpress.com Shipping charges are non-refundable. The consumer is responsible for all shipping costs. We will pay for, or reimburse 2-way shipping on INITIALLY DEFECTIVE merchandise for the first 30 days only. Only Ground shipping will be refunded. 

13. PLEASE understand sometimes warranty work takes some time, and we have NO control over it. We cannot refund a purchase price or send a free replacement just because a warranty repair takes a long time. This is no different than if you sent the item in for repair yourself. 

14. ALL special order items are non-returnable. These include all custom sub enclosures, kick panels, and anything marked online as special order, or if you are told on the phone it is special order. NO cancellations will be accepted. If a product is special ordered from the manufacturer (or supplier), and we can stop the order before it is shipped, we will. Once it is shipped from the supplier, we must accept it. Therefore you must also. By special ordering with your credit card, you are indicating your acceptance of these terms, and will be billed accordingly. Should you for any reason refuse the shipment, we will retain 35% of the purchase price, and all shipping and handling fees. If merchandise is NOT special order, we shall retain a 30% re-stocking fee, as well as shipping and handling fees on any refused or cancelled orders.

15. If for extenuating circumstances we DO accept a return, a 30% re-stocking fee will be charged on non-special orders. Shipping charges will not be refunded. This is non-negotiable. If WE tell you something will fit you're car, and it does NOT, that is OUR fault, and we will gladly take the return.

16. IMPORTANT: If your shipment is damaged in transit, DO NOT ship it back to us! Contact us, and we will contact the carrier, and put in a damage claim. KEEP ALL PACKING MATERIAL AND BOXES! If any other mishaps occur from the shipper, we will file all necessary claims. We must go through the procedures they tell us. We have no control over the delays that can be caused. Once a claim is settled, we will replace your merchandise, or refund the purchase amount.

17. You ACKNOWLEDGE that if you are NOT at home when the parcel is delivered, the carrier may leave the parcel unattended at your designated "ship to" address, whereupon liability for this parcel becomes YOURS alone. If delivery tracer shows delivery to this address, you agree to not hold Multi Media Xpress responsible for this parcel. YOU MAY, for an additional fee to be determined by the carrier, request that the carrier will only release parcel to person bearing identification, but that liability for said parcel will still be borne by the purchaser. You may also request "SIGNATURE REQUIRED service.

WE AGREE to initiate claims against the carrier, where necessary, to help you recover your loss, but we take no responsibility for the loss of your parcel when we can demonstrate that we placed it in the care of the carrier. 

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that your EMAIL address be clearly presented with your order. We agree to notify you at this address that your parcel has been shipped, on the day it has been shipped. This allows you to both track the progress of your shipment and to make arrangements to be present to receive your package.

YOU AGREE to notify us if you have not received your parcel by the 7th business day after your parcel has been shipped, and you agree to make this notification within 2 business days (by the 9th business day) of this fact.

18. We are not responsible for typographical errors. We will not honor orders with "glitches" in our shopping cart system that could cause an incorrect price to appear on an invoice. 

19. Everyone asks. "How are your prices so low?" OK, We will try to explain it here. VOLUME. Aside from that, we have very little overhead, and work on a very small markup. Our extensive experience in sales and installation of Car Audio allows us to stock the most desirable units for immediate shipping. Our extensive access to the wholesale marketplace enables us to quickly and economically acquire all the rest.
    So, if you don't buy from US, it is YOU who ultimately pays for things like shoplifting, liability expenses, newspaper and air wave advertising, inexperienced installers who destroy new product and expect a refund, and overstocking of merchandise.
    We find that the experienced, educated shoppers tend to know what they want, install it correctly, and don't change their mind after they have ordered. Consequently we don't need to build a premium into our prices to offset the cost of dealing with those situations.
    Conversely, if you find that everything you install tends to burn up on you, or if you change your mind a lot, perhaps you should move on to the next web site, or a local retail store. Let THEIR customers pay YOUR way.

EXCEPTIONS: Some brands and products are special order, and are indicated as such on the product pages. If a product page indicates extra shipping time is needed, or that an item is special order, the 3 day rule is voided. An example would be on the Kicker page, it states please allow 3-5 business days for shipping.
