This design uses both Ferrite and Neodymium magnets that are stacked in series. The Ferrite magnets are stacked on the outside perimeter of the voice coil and each of the two Neodymium magnets are located on the inside pole centered in the middle of the two voice coils. Using the Ferrite magnets on the outside and the Neodymium magnets on the inside of the voice coil increases the magnetic flux field.
Using DOV (Dual Opposing Voice coils) and HVA (Horizontal and Vertical Alignment spider assembly) allows for an exceptionally linear voice coil motion, efficiency and cooling. This allows the voice coil and speaker cone assembly to move in a more efficient linear motion.
