Why Shop on MMXPRESS.com?
Well the answers are
many, but we will try to list some here. :-)
| 1.
Price. |
| No, lets
call it VALUE. The prices are great on all of our
products. We may not be the LOWEST price on EVERY item,
but we feel we give the best VALUE of ANY online dealer.
Everyone wants to pay the lowest price, it's only
natural. You work hard for your money. So do we! We are
consumers just like you when we go shopping. If you buy
from a dealer who is not PROVEN RELIABLE, or just popped
up on a free server last week, are they going to BE
THERE when you need service? Maybe the company decided
to "give the net a try" and will be happy to only make a
few dollars on something just to get some early sales.
That kind of company WILL NOT LAST. They will figure out
that if they don't make a profit, they can't STAY in
business. Pretty simple really. So if you buy from one
of these places to save a few dollars and they VANISH as
fast as they appeared, what are you going to do? Many
companies do NOT authorize INTERNET (or mail order)
sales of their products. Your factory warranty will be
VOID on these products! We plan to be here for many
years to come, to make SURE you get the warranty
service, should you ever need it. |

Low Price Match. |
| Even
though we feel our prices are the best values, we know
you may find something for less someplace else! We will
try our best to MEET or BEAT the total shipped
price from any online competitor of ours that we feel is
a LEGITIMATE business. There are a few (and we are sure
there will be more to follow) online "stores" that we
will NOT consider a legitimate business at our
discretion. Any "business" that is on a free server like
"Geocities" is NOT a LEGIT business. First off, it is
ILLEGAL for them to do that. All of the free servers
state clearly "no commercial sites" in the terms. By
using a free server, they break that contract. And if
they can't afford a domain name, can they be a RELIABLE
business? Think about it. Other "stores" (we won't drop
names) are known to remove serial numbers from goods!
That is ILLEGAL again! Would you buy a product with a
SERIAL NUMBER REMOVED? If YOU are caught with it, it can
get taken from YOU! And if they are willing to break the
law with that, what other laws will they break? |
| 3.
Honesty. |
We are
as honest as they come. That is not just a sales pitch,
it is the truth. We clearly state that we are NOT
AUTHORIZED DEALERS for all brands we sell. But we have a
WARRANTY on EVERYTHING we sell, no matter what.
We don't use terms like "VIRTUALLY AUTHORIZED for all
brands".
We don't tell you an item is in stock, when clearly it
is NOT. Yes, we have been MISTAKEN on this in the past,
not realizing there was an order for the last piece when
we checked stock. But this would NEVER be done
intentionally. |
| 4.
Reliability. |
| We have
been here, and we will stay here. We were among one of
the first online car audio stores, and we plan to STAY
the NUMBER 1 MOST RECOMMENDED ONLINE DEALER that we know
of. We ship fast if an item is in stock (if an order is
received before noon, it will ship the same day). If it
is not in stock, we can usually have it in 1-2 days. If
we don't have it after 3 (business) days, we will inform
you by e-mail of the back order, and you have the option
of canceling the order. It's that simple. Back orders
are inevitable in this business. We can't possibly have
everything in stock all the time. But over 90% of all
orders are shipped within 3 business days. Special
orders usually take a little longer, but not always. |

Installation Help. |
Need a
wiring diagram? Need instructions on taking your dash
off??? These are all provided FREE with your order! Just
let us know when you call, or put it in the remarks area
with your online order! We just need you vehicles
year/make/model.
You can also call us with questions, and we will be glad
to help you out with the answers. If we don't know, we
will find out! |

Service. |
| If you
need service, we WILL provide it. If you need help, we
WILL provide it. We can NOT control how long repairs
take, and honestly some of them can take a while. but we
always use the fastest available repair service for you.
All warranty work will always be handled by the
manufacturer, or an authorized repair center for the
manufacturer. So it is repaired to OEM specs or better.
If you need service
email John for an RMA # (Return Merchandise Account
#) BEFORE you try to just send it back to us. This #
MUST accompany all repairs. |

TeamROCS affiliation. |
| We
helped start
teamROCS, and are one of the only certified internet
retailers.

for an HTML news reader and to SEARCH for news entries.
If you search Deja for rec.audio.car and mmxpress.com we
are sure you will find HUNDREDS of positive posts and
people who suggest our site for making purchases! Or
just browse through the news group (lots of good stuff!)
and you will see us mentioned lots of times. We doubt
you will find ANYTHING negative about us, and you will
often find JOHN on the news group helping give answers
to people. |

that's about it. We have had thousands of happy
customers, and will have thousands more! These people
can't ALL be wrong! |

KNOWLEDGEABLE Staff. |
| Most
places if you call or e-mail with questions want to give
you prices, or take orders, and that's about it. We will
always try and give you the RIGHT ANSWERS to your
questions. Good stereo systems don't happen by slapping
tons of stuff in a car without matching things right.
How many people really understand ohms law, or how to
get the most power from their amp? Or how NOT to FRY the
amp by giving it to low an ohm load? How to wire up 4
subs for the right ohm load? We know you don't all know
how to do it. It's OK, we DO. You call or e-mail us, we
KNOW the answers, or will find out! We don't read from a
database like "Crutchfield". We aren't rude and short.
We are friendly and KNOW what we are talking about. It's
not bragging, it's letting you know what we are about!
We are about car audio. MECP certified, IASCA members,
and years of experience installing give us an almost
UNFAIR amount of knowledge as compared to our
"competitors". |

lots of payment options! Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Optima, CHECK, Money Orders, Wire Transfers,

Reasonable Shipping Rates. |

handling charges are based on what UPS charges, plus a
flat $5.00 per ORDER for handling. We aren't here to
make money on the shipping! |

| There is
no "membership fee" or "member prices" or catalogs to
buy or anything like that. What you see is what you

NO SPAM! |
| We HATE
SPAM and SPAMMERS! We don't EVER send unsolicited
e-mail! If you WANT to join our mailing list for
specials, great. You can join that on our site and we
will NEVER give your e-mail address or other info to
anyone. We don't SPAM the newsgroups with "ADS" for our
site! Plenty of people ALREADY recommend our site on the
newsgroups, we let word of mouth be our ads. Isn't that
the best way to find out about a place, to hear it from
another happy customer? |

But what about the "no return policy"? |
Well, we
get asked about that a lot. Some other places DO offer a
30 day satisfaction guarantee on all purchases. But LOOK
at those places, and see what the policies say about it!
Merchandise must be in brand new condition (sometimes
even says UNOPENED) and re-sellable to qualify for a
refund. Well that says a couple of things. First of all
if you can't open it, how can you tell if your not
happy? If you INSTALL it and decide you don't like it,
and send it back, good for you. But what about the poor
guy who orders it next, and gets a piece that has been
INSTALLED already??? Did YOU get a piece that was USED
when promised NEW??? If an online shop is a "discount
retailer" like we are, there is no more room to discount
further is there? So will they take back a piece someone
didn't like and sell it for 0 profit, or at a loss? I
don't think so, do you? They will re-package it, and
re-sell it for the same profit they always do.
We do things a little different. We try to make sure
BEFORE you buy that your getting the RIGHT PIECE for
your application! Most people are not happy with what
they got because they were not aware of what they REALLY
needed. And some places will just take your order no
questions asked. If you KNOW what you WANT or NEED, go
ahead, put the order in online here, and order it! But
if your NOT sure, mail us! Call us! We will help you
make sure the speaker will fit your car, the amp will be
right for your speakers, or the ohm load will be right
for your amp! If after all that you are STILL not happy,
we have been know to take returns on non-special ordered
items. there IS a re-stocking fee, but isn't that more
fair? Then we can sell it HONESTLY as an OPEN BOX item,
at a discount on the specials page. Everyone else gets
NEW items every time, not re-packaged goods. It's fair
to us, and it's fair to you. Any retailer who takes back
merchandise that has been installed HAS to account for
this in the pricing. These things are taught in
"Business 101" and any company who doesn't follow basic
principles of business is headed for failure. That means
you are going to pay full retail (which there is plenty
of room for returns built-in) OR they must be re-selling
returned items! Let the buyer beware. Use your best
judgment. But don't believe things that don't make much
sense, or just sound "too good to be true". It probably
is. |
